Paxton-Barrand Hearing Aids commenced business in 1962 trading as Kevin Barrand Hearing Aids. The name was changed to Paxton-Barrand when the business was incorporated in 1965. We rely on referrals from Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons, General Practitioners and satisfied clients. We pride ourselves on providing professional and ethical service to our clients.
We have a fully equipped Service Laboratory with three technicians to offer service on your hearing aids, normally while you wait but if this can’t be done, we have loan hearing aids that we give to clients to use free of charge.
Paxton-Barrand diversified into audiometric equipment in 1973, with this division of the company being named Paxton-Barrand Electromedics. We are Australian agents for Oscilla of Denmark and Micro Audiometrics of America. We also fit assistive listening devices, Tinnitus Maskers, Voice Amplifiers and individually moulded water plugs and musicians plugs.
